In 2004 Mr. Cotte’s dream was realized when he was invited by the Louvre Museum in Paris to photograph the painting “in the nude” with his invention the digital Multi-Spectral camera.

Cotte and his team of experts used this cutting-edge technology to bring the Mona Lisa back to life.

 

His hi-def camera utilizes intense illumination as it scans the painting and is capable of “seeing through” spectral layers of paint to expose the artist’s visible and invisible painting stages
